POWER RATING OF THE PRAMAC S12000 400V
Power Rating – Standby power 13.9 kVA/11.1 KW & Continuous power 11.8 KVA /9.5 KW.
Despite having a large capacity fuel tank, the Pramac S12000 400V AVR CONN generator is surprisingly light, compact and strong. The optional transport kit consisting of two solid rubber wheels and a non-slip rubber foldaway handle makes it very easy move to where it is needed. While the easy to use configuration gives you a fantastic balance between performance and price.
IS THE PRAMAC S12000 400V EASY TO START AND USE?
You bet it is – The Electric key start makes starting a total breeze, the S12000 also has an emergency recoil start (pull start) which is smooth and silky. On a well-maintained unit it starts first turn of the key every time.
There are 1 x 400V 16A, 1 X 230V 16A and 1 x 230V SCHUKO socket to connect your electrical equipment up to. With low oil shutdown and thermal protection this portable petrol generator is extremely reliable and easy to use. This version also has an AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator), CONN socket, used with optional AMF (Automatic mains failure) panel and RDC (Residual Current Device – a current-activated circuit-breaker used as a safety device for mains-operated electrical tools and appliances).
LOW NOISE LEVELS
You might think having a portable generator will be very noisy. Well, think again; the Pramac S12000 400V is surprisingly quiet at 68 dBA @ 7 metres.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT USE MY GENERATOR FOR LONG PERIODS?
As with all petrol engines, if you are planning to store your generator for a long period its ‘best practice’ to either drain the fuel tank then run the generator until it stops. This will prevent any unused fuel congealing and clogging the carburettor. Or to stop the fuel from going off use a petrol additive. Remember, stale fuel can stop your generator from starting when you need it.
